DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM SALT LAKE CITY

APPROXIMATELY ONE HOUR DRIVE TIME

From Salt Lake City, take I-15 North to Exit 324 - Highway 89/84, just past Lagoon Amusement Park. Follow Highway 89 approximately. 10 miles to the junction of I-84 (just after the big Wolf Creek billboard), and travel east on I-84 towards Morgan/Evanston, WY.

Get off at the first exit you come to, Exit 92 - Mountain Green/Stoddard. Turn left off ramp, go under freeway and turn right on the frontage road, which parallels the freeway.

Travel about 2 miles and turn left just after the Sinclair Oil Gas Station onto Trapper's Loop Road (Rte 167).

Follow all the way up and over the hill, passing Snowbasin Resort on your left, until the road terminates at Pineview Lake.

On Saturday morning, August 16, you should turn right on Hwy 39 and follow this road for about 5 miles, skirting the shores of Pineview Reservoir in order to avoid congestion from another event taking place, the Xterra Traithlon.  At the 4-way stop in Eden center, turn right onto Wolf Creek Drive/Rte 158, and travel about 1 mile to the Festival Field on the left.  To get to Wolf Mountain, stay straight on Hwy 166 and follow the signs to Wolf Mountain.

On Friday August 15 and Sunday August 17, Turn left onto Hwy 39 East and follow about 2 miles along the banks of Pineview Lake. Turn right onto Rte 158, which is the road that goes over the dam on the west end of Pineview Lake. Travel on Rte 158 approximately 4 miles until the road forks near a trail head parking lot. Bear left following the sign to Liberty until you come to a 4-way stop.

Follow signs to Ogden Valley Balloon Festival.
