Please consider the 14th Annual Ogden Valley Balloon Festival in Eden, Utah, August 15-16, 2008, where unlimited opportunities exist for companies like yours to gain significant exposure during one of Northern Utah’s most popular festivals. In 2007, the 13th Annual Ogden Valley Balloon Festival brought a family-friendly audience from all over Northern Utah and from across the country! The event was a resounding success because of the changes that were made to move some festival activities out into the valley. A few examples were:
- Craft vendors were located at the Huntsville Park location with a positive continuous traffic flow.
- A very fine successful Art Show directed by Wilkerson Art Gallery in Huntsville.
- Local valley businesses and restaurants benefited from the increased business and sales during the balloon festival weekend.
The Festival will follow the same format as the previous year. We anticipate at least 30 balloons will again grace our valley with their colorful craft, with pilots coming from all over the country. We are already planning the entertainment schedule, and are booking early in order to attract high-caliber local entertainment.
Our web site received over 1,200,000 hits that year, and a significant number of our cyberspace visitors viewed EVERY page on the web site. Obviously, the links to the sponsor sites worked! Our 2008 marketing plan will include a similar investment in advertising dollars, with an increased effort in publicity and media relations.
